Join Trenton Friends Meeting and CFPA, for an annual vigil for peace to usher in the New Year.
The Peace Gathering begins with a Multifaith Peace Vigil at 4:00 PM. From 4:15-4:45, the Vigil will include brief Reflections on Peace from four faiths, including Christian, Jewish, Muslim, and Baha’i traditions. Confirmed presenters include:
The Rev. Dr. Charles Boyer, Pastor of Greater Mt. Zion AME Church in Trenton and the founder of Salvation and Social Justice, a non-partisan Black faith-rooted public policy group.
Irene Etkin Goldman, Chair Emerita of CFPA, and a leader of the NJ Chapter of J Street, a pro-peace Jewish organization.
Salim Manzar, a Muslim peace leader who is a member of the Muslim Center of Greater Princeton.
Eberhard Wunderlich, a member of the Bahai’s of Princeton.

This event will be held inside the Trenton Friends Meeting House, 142 E. Hanover Street (at the corner of N. Montgomery) as part of Patriots Week. Free and open to the public. Park in back of the Meeting House or on Hanover Street.
