Dear friend,

I'm pleased to be continuing our celebration of Rev. Bob Moore's 40 years as CFPA's Executive Director! We are delighted that the NJ General Assembly passed this Resolution Honoring Bob on this milestone anniversary.

In addition to sharing the Resolution with you, I'm following up on our earlier message about a $20,000 Matching Challenge! We are honoring Bob and marking his four decades of peacemaking with a 40th Anniversary Matching Grant Campaign to benefit the Coalition for Peace Action.

To help intensify CFPA’s organizing while we have a more pro-peace Congress and President, and as we approach the critical 2022 Elections, we recently launched a 40 YEARS OF PEACEMAKING campaign. Our goal is to raise $40,000.

As you see above, we have now received $30,000, 75% of that goal. I'm writing to ask for your help to raise the last $10,000 to fully reach our goal. If you haven't yet given, please contribute NOW -- it will be DOUBLED!

Click here or the button below to make your 40th Anniversary Gift and have it DOUBLED NOW! May I suggest you make your gift as an increment of 40, for example, between $40 and $4,000.

Under Bob’s leadership, CFPA has become one of the nation’s most prominent and effective grassroots peace groups. From the Nuclear Freeze campaign of the 1980s to today’s No Wars, No Warming campaign, CFPA has been at the forefront of both regional and national actions.

This 40th anniversary offers opportunities to celebrate what we’ve accomplished and to plan for the future. With your support, we can carry out crucial activities such as:

  • Lobby for reducing and restricting nuclear weapons toward their global abolition, a central part of our mission from the beginning.
  • Ramp up Peace Voter. The 2022 elections will be crucial to the future of peace and justice initiatives. CFPA intends to meet with candidates, widely distribute our Peace Voter guides, and seek maximum impact with legislators who share our values.
  • Continue our successful Ceasefire New Jersey campaign against gun violence statewide.
  • Strengthen our connections to area groups dedicated to peace and social justice, such as Black Lives Matter, Stop Asian Hate, and Princeton Seminarians for Peace and Justice.

While the purpose of the campaign is to support CFPA’s peacemaking work, we hope to use a portion for a gift to Bob Moore for his 40 years of leadership. Please join us in honoring Bob and ensuring CFPA’s future. We will let Bob know the names of everyone who contributes.
