The weekend of 2/20 and 2/21 was quite a productive one for CFPA and our partners! For the two events described below, we had more than 400 participate, including live attendees and those who viewed the recording afterwards.
On Saturday, 2/20, we co-sponsored Sacred Heart of Camden's Peace Community Annual Gathering. Peace activists Kathy Kelly, Sarah Ball, and Jim Forest were featured (with Jim's remarks being read by Nancy Forest).
On Sunday, 2/21, we held a panel discussion about the hazardous proposed LNG (liquefied natural gas) export terminal to be built in Gibbstown, NJ along the Delaware River.
Important links to take action:
- Sign on letter from organizations to President Biden for a stop to all LNG exports across the nation.
- Petition for individuals to sign for a Stop to all LNG exports across the nation.
- Facebook Event for the “virtual march” to the DRBC meeting Thurs., Feb. 25, 10:30 am where the ban on fracking will be voted on.
