On April 8, 2018, CFPA held its annual Membership Renewal and New Member Welcome Gathering. 

Andrew C. Weber, former Assistant Secretary of Defense for Nuclear, Chemical, and Biological Defense Programs, spoke to a crowd of 80 about US nuclear "modernization" and other current issues. 

Two local student leaders who organized gun violence prevention events were honored at our Gathering.

Dziyana getting awardDziyana Zubialevich accepts an award for outstanding peacemaking, from the Rev. Robert Moore, CFPA's Executive Director. Dziyana initiated the March 24th Princeton March for Our Lives Rally, which had 4,000 attendees. Ben Bollinger, a freshman at Princeton University who started a campus gun violence prevention organization, was also honored in absentia.
