On Monday, January 15th, 2018, approximately 300 people from all backgrounds gathered at Princeton's First Baptist Church for the annual Multifaith Service to Commemorate and Honor the Legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King. The service was co-sponsored by CFPA and the Princeton Clergy Association, and the freewill offering benefited CFPA and United Negro College Fund.
Leaders from a range of faiths participated, including Baptist, Presbyterian, Episcopal, United Methodist, African Methodist Episcopal, Baha'i, Christian Science, Unitarian Universalist, United Church of Christ, Jewish, and Muslim. CFPA's executive director, the Rev. Bob Moore, gave the sermon, speaking out on rejecting all forms of racism and bigotry, as well as militarism, while supporting the beloved community.
