On Sunday, November 5, the Coalition for Peace Action (CFPA) held a rally for Diplomacy, Not War with North Korea and Iran in Hinds Plaza, Princeton. This rally coincided with nationally organzied events this week in support of diplomacy. Approximately 80 people attended, and speakers included:

  • David Brahinsky, a Princeton-based folk singer and philosophy professor
  • Kathy “Kip” Cherry, Co-Chair of CFPA’s Committee for Political Action
  • Prof. Rob Goldston, Princeton University physicist who worked closely with CFPA in advocating for the Iran Nuclear Agreement
  • Mike Helper, Princeton Citizen Scientists
  • Jeff Laurenti, former Executive Director, UN Association of the USA
  • Sharleen Leahey, a Somerset, NJ based folk singer
  • The Rev. Robert Moore, Executive Director of the Coalition for Peace Action
  • Romee St. John, Princeton Seminarians for a Just Peace
  • Prof. Shapoor Vali, Iranian American professor from Fordham
