On Saturday, September 23, the Coalition for Peace Action (CFPA) held a rally in Tiger Park (Palmer Square, Princeton) for Diplomacy, Not War with North Korea. The crowd of approximately 50 held signs and chanted "Diplomacy Not War!" while they listened to talks by local leaders and scientists. Speakers included: Imam Qareeb Bashir of the Islamic Center of Ewing, CFPA Board Member Kathy "Kip" Cherry, CFPA Board Chair Irene Goldman, CFPA Board Member and Unitarian Universalist Minister Rev. Carol Haag, CFPA Executive Director Rev. Bob Moore, Princeton Councilman Tim Quinn, former Assistant Director of the White House Science Advisor's Office Frank von Hippel, and Assemblyman Andrew Zwicker.
