On Thursday, September 21, the Coalition for Peace Action (CFPA) co-sponsored a vigil at St. Ann's Church in Lawrenceville. This event was held in honor of International Peace Day, and included local leaders from a variety of faiths. CFPA Executive Director Rev. Bob Moore spoke at the vigil, and reflected on the importance of action in the pursuit of peace. Approximately 100 people attended the service, which concluded with a candlelighting.
