On Monday, February 6 the Coalition for Peace Action (CFPA) co-sponsored a Rally Against Islamophobia and Bigotry with the United Mercer Interfaith Organization (UMIO). The rally was held on the steps of Trenton City Hall and included leaders from Hispanic, faith, and civil rights communities. Mayor Eric Jackson and CFPA Executive Director Rev. Bob Moore were among the speakers. Approximately 250 people attended, and the event recevied front page coverage in local newspapers (click here to see recent coverage).
