On Saturday, November 12 members of the Coalition for Peace Action (CFPA) and Christ Congregation gathered to honor Executive Director Rev. Bob Moore for 35 years with CFPA and 40 years as an ordained minister. Over 80 people came and enjoyed a potluck meal, music, and testimonials to Rev. Moore's peacemaking career. The Coalition for Peace Action (CFPA) is a grassroots citizens' organization bringing together people of all ages, backgrounds, professions and political persuasions around three goals: global abolition of nuclear weapons, a peace economy and a halt to weapons trafficking at home and abroad.
