The Coalition for Peace Action (CFPA) co-sponsored an event on "Understanding the Iran deal" which featured speaker Dr. Zia Mian nuclear physicist from Princeton University, exploring the Iran Deal at this presentation at Germantown Friends Meeting in Philadelphia on September 3, 2015.

An Emergency Demonstration to Urge Sen. Booker to Support the Iran Agreement was held on August 29 outside of Booker's NJ office in Newark. The Coalition for Peace Action (CFPA) co-sponsored the rally along with the Bloomfield-based NJ Peace Action, NJ Pax Christi, the Newark-based People's Organization for Progress, and the NJ Chapter of the National Iranian American Council (NIAC). Over 60 individuals participated in the Coalition for Peace Action's Emergency Vigil to "Give Peace a Chance" held on Saturday, August 15, for a Global Day of Peace for Iran, during the crucial  60 day period Congress has to vote on the agreement. People gathered in more than 70 cities across the world to "Give Peace a Chance" and prevent another war in a Worldwide Call to Action to Support Diplomacy by Sealing the Deal with Iran! The photos that were taken are to be included in a global film compiled of the photos from all 70 cities worldwide!

Thirteen people, including scientific experts, clergy, and an Iranian American participated in CFPA’s Iran Lobby Day to Washington, DC on July 23, soon after the 60 day Congressional Review began of the final Agreement on the Iran nuclear issue. Visits were made to all four US Senate offices representing NJ and PA, as well as to the offices of Representatives Bonnie Watson Coleman, Donald Norcross, and Frank Pallone.

Information packets were given at each appointment, and constructive and respectful conversations were had with elected officials and their senior staffers—including a follow-up conference call with staff to Sen.
